Judging from the patreon posts, and the other games, the dev is not primarily in it for the money. The patreon is doing pretty well though. Among the indie lewd games, this has a rather big fellowship. Just look at the itch ratings. Over 700. Most lewd games I read the description of, have less than 100.
There was a wip teaser on patreon not long ago. If real life issues do not strike, I do not think the game will be abandoned.
Few thoughts
They could be more guidance. Sometimes, I was caught in a "vicious" loop where I didn't know what to do. I ended up systematically doing everything to see what I needed to do to unlock things. it takes you out of the proper mindset when you have to do this.

When it comes to clothes, I am not sure why Gym clothes you have to put on but with everything else it is automated. Maybe it isn't all implemented yet. This will be a lot of work to code though.

Wow what a nice game. I'd say, 70% of the kinks shown in it match my own. What doesn't match is the humiliation/submission part and the "turning into woman" part. I’m having trouble unlocking some of the last few scenes, not the beginning ones that I’m assuming are missable. Then a few weeks later Alex will make a deal with you to be let out on the weekends, up to you if you accept her offer or not.
